What Oxidative Stress Actually Is

Free Radicals vs. Antioxidants
When your body works normally, it makes tiny particles called free radicals. Normally, antioxidants keep these in check.
But sometimes, too many free radicals are made, and the antioxidants cannot keep up. That imbalance is oxidative stress, and it can damage cells and blood vessels over time.
